| September Meeting Votes Best Beers It was an Oktoberfest beer tasting at last month's meeting. A lively crowd evaluated ten quality fest/autumn brews and a few home brews, including one from award winning brewer Chris Johnson. When the votes were counted the top three brews were: 1. Sam Adams Oktoberfest 2. Gritty's Halloween Ale 3. Saranac Octoberfest |

Next Meeting SPECIAL EVENT It's Munich in Newark! The Garden State Craft Brewers' Guild will hold their first ever Oktober Festival on Oct. 19 at Newark Bears Riverfront Stadium, 1-5 PM. Enjoy unlimited tastings of Oktoberfest brews, cask ales, and some special surprises at this first time ever event. Click HERE for all the details. Because of this special event there will be no regular October meeting. Support New Jersey beer - don't miss the festival! ---------------------------- Festival Discount for DB 15 Members The Gaslight has secured a very limited number of advance sale tickets to the Oktober Festival. They will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. DB15 members who are fully paid for the year are eligible to purchase a $45 ticket (door price) for only $25! The difference will come from the club treasury. Tickets must be purchased in person at the Gaslight. One ticket per paid member. Once the supply is sold out no further discount tickets will be available. |
