The odds are, this new law can't help but catch
on quickly among Wisconsin residents.
Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle has signed a bill
allowing grocery and liquor stores to hand out up
to 6 ounces of free beer samples.
State law had allowed wineries to offer up to 6
ounces of free samples.Sponsors of the bill
contended it was only natural to allow the same
promotional offers for beer in a state known for
its beer-drinking.
And now it's the law.

Anheuser-Busch has just begun marketing
something called Spykes. It is the first product of
its kind, a pre-packaged alternative beverage
created to add to beer or drink alone. The flavors
are:Spykes Hot Chocolate, Spicy Mango, Spicy
Lime, and Hot Melons.
It is actually a malt-based beverage with caffeine,
ginseng and guarana . It has a sweet/heat flavor:
sweet start/hot finish.
Can also be chilled and consumed as a shooter
If you enjoy such classy past times
as chugging beer and playing arcade
games, Barcade is probably a
fantasy come true. Apparently,
Barcade is where all of the cool kids
are hanging out these days, drinking
draft beer, and playing the old-school
arcade games such as Pac-Man and
Frogger. This place is apparently so
hip, it's even got a Myspace profile.
And a page on Friendster. And a
Flickr account!
Apparently there's a whole new wave
of arcade goers, and surprisingly, or
not, they're mostly 20-30-year-olds.
Nolan Bushnell, the founder of the
original Atari game company and
Chuck E. Cheese, opened a swanky
restaurant in an LA mall, complete
with video-game equipped tables. He
says his target is the adult dating set,
'cuz you know, nothing screams
romance like draft beer and Pac-Man.
