Big Eddy Wee Heavy This is a scotch ale from Leinenkugel Brewing. At 9.5 % ABV it's a solid if undistinguished offering. It has a moderate sweetness with flavors of buckwheat, peat, sorghum, roasted toffee, and cocoa. Finish brings some spice, light banana, and more smoky peat. Mouthfeel is thin for the style. Overall rating:- Above Average
Lagunitas Sucks This is an American Double IPA that weight in at a somewhat modest for the style 7.8% ABV. It opens with smells of grapefruit, and other citrus. Taste is an avalanche of pineapple, grapefruit, orange, mangos, papaya, fresh lemon, sweet pine, and light floral hops underneath. Crisp, clean, and very dry finish. Body is moderate to thin for a DIPA making even more drinkable. One of the best beers I've ever rated for BeerNexus. Simply great stuff!! Overall Rating - Excellent
Sly Fox Seamus Irish Red An Irish Red Ale (5.6%)pour an appropriate red-brown. Smells of bread and slightly bitter malts. Taste is somewhat sweet with caramel up front followed by roasted malt and lightly burnt toast. Finish brings biscuit notes with a light vanilla sweetness. Drinkable but bland and uninspired. Overall Rating: average
