From Bottles to Growlers- beer reviews by SANDY FELD, certified taster
Fireston Walker Propagator Citra

This is a 5.8% NEIPA.  It opens with aromas of right citrus,
pineapple, tropical fruit, and sweet pale malts.  Taste features
notes of lemon, orange mango and pineapple over a base of
doughy malt..  There's a  mild bitterness near the finish that
quickly disappears.  Solid but nothing special in the category

Overall Rating: Above Average+

Oskar Blues BA20 Vol. 4: Zuccotto

This is an 12.5% ABV Imperial stout aged in brandy barrels with
white and dark chocolate, raspberries and vanilla.  Sorry, no kitchen
sink. Mostly dark chocolate, but just enough acidity from the
raspberry, complexity from the barrel, and sweetness/creaminess
from the white chocolate to keep it interesting Finish is just short
of being cloying.  Well worth trying.

Anheuser-Busch Natty Daddy

How did this get on my desk?  Maybe it's a
prank but I'm reviewing it anyway.  What can
I say about Natty Daddy? It does it's job,
and it does it well. It's a cheap gas-station
beer with no pretentions. The price reflects
the complexity. You can get a 25 fluid ounce
can for less than $2. It's a lager that's sweet
and thin, with corn as the dominate taste.
There's
a moderate alcohol burn
throughout.. And that's it folks

Overall Rating: Poor+
