Rusty Nail Fog Monster This is a 6.8% New England IPA. It opens with orange, grapefruit, and wet grass aromas. Flavors are orange peel, citrus, pineapple, and lime over a grainy bread base. A light bitterness lingers at the finish over more citrus notes. Not the typical juice bomb that many now make in this category. For me that's a good thing. Overall Rating: good+
Knee Deep Hoptologist This is a 9% American DIPA Expect a nose dominated by citrus with notes of orange and grapefruit. Taste is a bit mudded with tropical fruit favors of papaya, mango, grass, pine, and a hint of caramel. Finish brings a light bitterness over bread and malt notes. Alcohol is well hidden. A decent beer but better DIPAs out there. Overall Rating: Above Average
Gun Hill Void of Light This is a 7.9% Export Stout. Aromas are of chocolate, dark roast cold brew coffee, raisins, and grass. Flavors follow nose with the addition of prune / raisin and light hops. Finish features lightly brunt, bitter, strong coffee with hints of buttery toffee. A good example of the style. Overall Rating: Good
