Flying Fish Porter

Robust with dominate chocolate malt character.  Slightly bitter
in middle before coffee notes round out the finish.  Somewhat
sharp and brisk with hints of berry and mint.  Aftertaste brings
a sweet tone with lingering malt/coffee flavors.

Overall Rating - above average
Stone Smoked Porter

This porter features a creamy mouthfeel highlighted by a well
rounded smoked, roasted, spicy taste.  The smoke remains in
the background as chocolate and coffee notes move upfront
during mid-sip.  A bitterness emerges at the end which vies
with the brew's smoky character for domination.  Only for those
who enjoy a smoked beer.  

Overall Rating -above average
Having sampled well over 2,750 different beers in my
capacity as a fully certified taster I can promise
honest, thoughtful, and careful evaluations.  However,
remember that these reviews are totally subjective.

Stoudt's Winter Ale

Malt dominates throughout with hints
of hop spice and rye.  A subtle
nuttiness in a background of caramel
appear as the beer warms.  Floral
highlights lead to a somewhat sweet
and slightly alcoholic finish.
