| Sand City Power of One This is an 8.2% ABV New England IPA from Long Island, NY. It is made with Galaxy and Nelson hops that are recognizable in the nose along with notes of lemon, lime, and grapefruit. Taste brings green grapes, gooseberry, light lime, papaya, guava, and mango. Well made and engaging. A fine example of what NEIPA can be. Overall Rating: Outstanding |
| Firestone Walker Mind Haze This is another big brewery's version of a New England IPA at 6.2% ABV. It opens with guava, melon, pineapple, and light grapefruit smells. Expect well balanced flavors of zesty hops, oranges, tangerine, peaches, pineapple, mango, and guava. A solid beer but not top tier in this style. If you were expecting this to be a Tree House or Trillium you will be much disappointed. Overall Rating: Above Average |
