Southern Tier Help! On The Way! This is an 8.5% American DIPA. Written on the can: " Turn the can upside down before opening for increased hazy appeal." I evaluated it on tap and it was only minimally hazy. It opens with a nose of Aromas of mangoes, peach, pear, and pineapple. Flavors are apricot, grapefruit, orange, lemon, melon, and overripe fruit. Light bitter finish. Much better and real NEIPAs out there. Overall Rating: Above Average
SweetWater G-13 / 420 Series Sweetwater has taken a new hop G13 and married it with terpenes and natural hemp flavors. The result is an interesting 6% American IPA. It opens with aromas of canned, tropical fruit, white bread and wet dankness. Flavors are guava, grassy hops, grainy bread crust, and earthy dankness. The finish is dry with notes of tangerine and mango. Too much emphasis on weed notes for my taste. Overall: Average
Proclamation Derivative Galaxy This is an American Pale Ale at 6% ABV. Lots of citrus and tropical fruit notes on the nose along with some light malt. Taste follows the aromas more juicy fruit notes featuring a sharp citrus edge of grapefruit, orange lime, and passion fruit. Mild bitter finish. Easy to drink and refreshing. One of the better pale ales on the market. Well done. Overall Rating: Outstanding -
