Fifty-Fifty Four Roses Eclipse This Imperial Stout (11.9% ABV) opens with aromas chocolate, charred oak, smooth bourbon, black licorice, and light anise. Taste brings more of the same along with notes of molasses, dark stone fruit, chocolate, brown sugar, toffee, roasted grain, and vanilla. Obviously it's complex but also well balanced. Little alcohol taste for such a big beer. If you see it , get it. Overall Rating: Very Good+
Westbrook 7th Anniversary This is an Imperial Stout / American Double (9.5% ABV). Big aromas of caramel chocolate fudge, cocoa, and marshmallow will greet you. Flavor profile is led by roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel, light sea salt, and a hint of hops in the finish. Creamy and tasty throughout. Well made and satisfying Overall: Very Good-
Epic New England IPA This is a New England Style IPA (7.2% ABV) from a Colorado brewer. Geography doesn't matter in this rendition of the style that is so hot right now. The nose brings light tangerine, orange, mild hop and malt notes. Expect flavors of dry wood, oranges, grapefruits, and pineapples, The finish bring an engaging juicy citrus with just a light bitterness. Solid but not the best example of the style. Good +
