Spellbound IPA

This  Ameriican IPA (6.5% ABV) opens with smells of pine and
resiny hops.  First sip combines hops and citrus, with lingering
grapefruit notes.  Pale malt flavor emerges near the clean, dry
finish with a touch of lingering bitterness.  Overall a well made,
refreshing beer that will satisfy those not looking for complexity.

JP Casper White Stout

Confused by the term "white stout"?  Well it looks like a golden
lager and tastes something like a semi-stout that is dominated by
coffee and dare I say, white chocolate, notes.  The nose brings
mostly aromas of vanilla and powdered cocoa.  The taste is slightly
artificial with hints of dark chocolate, and a touch of caramel.   It is
reminiscent of a white chocolate Easter bunny- start with the ears.

Overall Rating: Average+
Having sampled nearly 4,800 different beers in my
capacity as a fully certified taster I can promise
honest, thoughtful, and careful evaluations.  However,
remember that these reviews are totally subjective.

Prison City Cherry Poppins

This is a sour cherry - 3.5% Berliner Weiss
style beer that has been fermented on tart
local cherries from local farms in Auburn, NY
It greets you with tart cherry aromas backed
by a hint of wheat. The taste is refreshing,
tart, sour and acidic, with a clean sharpness
and almost no hop bitterness. It's a mouth
puckering, fun and engaging brew.
